An article in the Jan. 20 issue of The Beverly Review about the shooting of a man at the home of an off-duty police officer on the 10700 block of Troy Street contained an error.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound, not a shotgun wound as reported. Police said the weapon used was a handgun. The Review regrets the error.
